I’m Not The Grinch Who Stole Christmas!
IMAGINE IT’S 01st JANUARY 2022…
NOW… how are you going to feel if you use the holiday period as an excuse to put your health and well-being on ‘hold’?
And ‘HOLD’ rarely means things stand still…. they go BACKWARDS!
Studies have shown that the average person gains in the region of 7 pounds over the Christmas period – and that ain’t 7 pounds of muscle!
RIGHT – I heard you, shouting ‘Grinch’ at the screen as you read this!
The truth is, I want you to have a great Christmas, to have fun and to sample luxuries – I really do.
BUT…as you know I’ve been doing this a long time and have witnessed many a Christmas and New Year. When it comes to January I often hear how people feel…
- “I feel like a need a holiday…”
- “I feel bloated and soo tired…”
- “I’ve really overdone the booze and junk food…”
- “I feel like I’m back to ‘square one’…”
Does that sound fun, like a good place to be in?
NOW…before you go cancel the festive festivities…I have some good news that can see you have a GREAT Christmas whilst offsetting the negatives!
It’s about making SMALL CHANGES and being REALISTIC!
I have a little task for you, which I NEED you to do today…
I NEED YOU SPEND 5 TO 10 MINUTES DECIDING WHAT YOU CAN REALISTICALLY COMMIT TO IN THIS MONTH
You can do this for all areas of your life, but for me I want you to look at the areas of WORKOUTS, EATING/DRINKING.
Now, tasks without examples can be hard to get started, so here are some examples…
CAN YOU COMMIT TO…
- 3 x 30-minute workouts (Home or Gym) a week?
- 30 minutes of meal prep once a week?
- Getting 7-8 hours of sleep at least 5 nights a week?
- Having JUST your favourite two treats – not everything on offer?
- Getting out for a long walk at least twice each week?
Decide what you can COMMIT to and then schedule it into your diary/planner.
Not only will you feel better – but you will actually ENJOY Christmas much more!
And you’ll have generated some serious momentum to start 2022 in a position of power rather than pain!
